Men’s Club For Men things

When the world went virtual, so did the famous Men’s Club at my kid’s school. But we still needed to keep the burn barrel fed with new “menbers.” Powered by my camera phone, a few cold ones and some inside knowledge of how men think, I was able to write, shoot, and edit this set of teasers. They were released on social media over a two-week period culminating in what I assume was the best computer meeting ever in the history of Golden Valley, Minnesota.

We also needed to submit a video for the “virtual back-to-school night.” From current Menbers, I collected various photos and videos from past events. Utilizing these masterfully shot clips, I wrote an accompanying script that shows just how much Men can accomplish when the bar is set pretty low.

Oh Christmas Trees

Did you know that if you order your Christmas tree before October 31st you can get 10% off? Neither did anyone else. That was the problem I needed to fix for the local Men’s Club at my kid’s school. Every year they sell trees with all profits going back to the school. This year they wanted to get a jump on the annual tradition by having families preorder their Minnesota grown Frasier Fir Christmas tree and keep their digital wallets a little thicker in the process. After I wrote, shot, and edited these sweet little “teaser videos,” they were released over a two-week period. Preordered tree sales went through the roof. Figuratively of course.
